Chicken Burrito

Kid stuff wrapped in a burrito with goodies kids like.

Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp of Adobo
  • ½ tsp of cumin
  • ½ tbsp of paprika
  • 1 cup of cooked rice
  • 1 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1 pk of small tortilla wraps
  • 1 lb of chicken breast (cut into ½ cubes)
  • 1 tbsp of sazon
  • 1 cup of sofritto
  • ½ cup of onions (diced)
  • 1 cup of red pepper (diced)
  • 1 cup of scallions (chopped)
  • 1 cup of green pepper (diced)
  • 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:

Chicken Burrito
1. In a medium bowl season chicken with Adobo and cumin.
2. Braise chicken in a large heavy skillet preheated to 375° with 2 tbsp of oil for 2-4 minutes.
3. Add tomatoes, rice, sofritto, paprika, red and green bell peppers, sazon, scallions, onions and cover, lower heat and simmer for 4-6 minutes.
4. Then remove from heat, leave covered.
5. Warm tortilla wraps in a warm skillet with no oil or butter.
6. Fill each wrap with mixture.

The Dog Pound

Lookout for the Dog Catcher. After you eat these he'll be after you! At least for the next 24hrs, beware.

Ingredients:
  • 8 Nathan's® skinless beef franks
  • 1 package store-bought pizza dough
INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat your oven to 350°

The Dog Pound
1. Roll the pizza dough out to a ½" thickness, then cut it into 10 strips that are each a ½ inch wide and 10 inches long.
2. Take a strip of dough and wrap a hot dog starting at one end, tucking the dough in on itself to secure it.
3. Repeat with each dough strip and hot dog.
4. Bake until puffed and brown, about 20 minutes. Serve with mustard.

Pepperoni Pizza Baguette

Invest in your own Pizzeria. Your kids will love it!

Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp of basil
  • 2 cups of Pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 fresh baguette
  • 2 tbsp of oregano
  • 1 cup of pizza sauce (Pepino®)
  • 4 cups of shredded of mozzarella cheese
INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 375°

Pepperoni Pizza Baguette
1. Cut baguette into 1" thick slices.
2. Paint baguette with olive oil.
3. Generously spread pizza sauce over baguette.
4. Scatter cheese and garlic over each one.
5. Place at least 3 slices of pepperoni over each baguette.
6. Sprinkle oregano and basil over all baguettes.
7. Place in oven for 10-12 minutes.


Serve Immediately

Grilled Quarter Pound Cheeseburger

Mom I'll gladly pay you Thursday for a cheeseburger today!

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 dill pickle (sliced)
  • mayonnaise
  • 2 tomatoes (sliced)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 leaves of romaine lettuce (washed & drained)
  • 1/2 tbsp Montreal Steak Seasoning (McCormick®)
INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 400°

Grilled Quarter Pound Cheeseburger
1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic and onion powder, Montreal Steak Seasoning.
2. Shape hamburger into four small baseballs, place a small piece of wax paper over top and press down with the bottom of a small saucer, flip and repeat, (Note: this creates a concave center).
3. Place on broiler pan, pour 2 cups in the broiler pan, Place burgers on top leaving space between them,(Don't Crowd).
4. Transfer broiler pan to top position in oven, set oven to high broil, turn when edges start to char, repeat once.
5. Remove burgers, immediately place 1-2 slices of cheese on each burger, butter rolls with mayo, cover with lettuce.
6. Place cheeseburger on poppy seed or sesame seed bun top with pickles, onion and tomato.

Serve hot with fries or soup.

Frozen Yogurt Pops

Calling all meat and potato lovers! There's no other way to describe this awesome dish "WOW!"

Ingredients:
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 2 quarts of Greek yogurt
  • 1 pint of fresh blueberries
  • 1 pint of fresh strawberries
  • 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:

Frozen Yogurt Pops
1. Wash all fruit. Core strawberries an split in half lengthwise and place in glass or stainless steel bowl, add lemon juice
and ½ cup of sugar.
2. Marinate strawberries for at least 2 hours in refrigerator.
3. Place blueberries in a medium Non-stick saucepan on low heat, add ¼ cup of water and ½ cup of sugar, simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, drain excess liquid and allow blueberries to cool, mix with 2 pints of yogurt while blueberries are slightly warm.
5. Fill pop containers with mixture and freeze.
6. After strawberries have marinated mix with yogurt and 1 tsp of vanilla extract, then pour into pops and freeze.

Baked French Fries

Remember you're being watched, so make sure you don't upset Mr. Potato Head anymore then he is. He has a lot of friends in Idaho that will come to his aid. Let's face it he's a popular guy and if his wife gets involved, no one is safe, even the deep fryer is terrified. Things won't end well if she enters the picture. She'll turn off our water, gas and electric.

Ingredients:
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 4 large potato (peeled & washed)
  • ½ cup of vegetable or chive & onion cream cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:Preheat oven at 375°

Baked French Fries
1. Cut potatoes into French fries, spray a large cookie sheet with a release agent.
2. Put potatoes in a large mixing bowl, sprinkle with ingredients, (Except Cream Cheese), toss until thoroughly distributed.
3. Place in preheated oven and bake until golden brown. 4. Serve hot with cream cheese as a dip.

Trick or Treat? Banana Boats

Yummy Yummy, what a tummy pleaser! Hope you enjoy it!


Ingredients:
  • 4 kiwis
  • Redi Whip®
  • 6 bananas
  • shortbread cookies for boat deck
  • 1 cup of hot Hershey's® Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 pint of raspberries
  • 1 pint of strawberries
  • 4 naval oranges (sliced)
  • 1 pint of bing cherries (stems removed)
  • 1 cup of International Delight® hazelnut creamer
INSTRUCTIONS:

Trick or Treat? Banana Boats
1. Start by peeling 1 banana removing strings and cutting off the bottom end.
2. Cut banana in half, lay one half over the other on a bed of shortbread cookies.
3. Arrange other fruit around banana halves.
4. Pour just enough creamer to surround the cookie bed.
5. Drizzle hot chocolate syrup over bananas, top with Redi Whip® and serve.
6. Repeat to make as many boats as desired.

Smoked Ham Hogies

A very different type of sandwich.

Ingredients:
  • ½ lb smoked ham
  • 1 dill pickle (sliced)
  • 1 onion (thinly sliced)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
  • mayonnaise (salad dressing)
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • 1 cucumber (sliced)
  • 2 torpedo rolls (gutted)
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • ½ cup of Robusto® Italian Dressing
INSTRUCTIONS:

Smoked Ham Hoagie
1. Soak cucumbers in the Robusto® dressing for 20 minutes.
2. Coat rolls with mayo or salad dressing.
3. Create a bed of lettuce on bottom of roll, layer cucumbers on top, add onions, tomatoes, season with oregano, salt & pepper and Italian seasoning. 4. Next fold over slices of ham as displayed, top with pickles.

Baked Crinkle Cut Potato Chips

Ingredients:
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 4 large potato (peeled & washed)
INSTRUCTIONS:

Baked Crinkle Cut Potato Chips
1. Cut potatoes up using a crinkle fries cutter.
2. In a medium mixing bowl add ingredients and evenly mix seasonings into potatoes.
3. Spread potatoes out on a greased cookie sheet.
4. Bake until golden brown.

Pizza Flats

Ingredients:
  • fresh basil
  • 1 bag of flat bread
  • 1 tsp of dried basil
  • ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup of black kalamata olives (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp of minced garlic
  • 1 16oz of ricotta cheese
  • 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning
  • 1 16oz pk of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pint of cherry or grape tomatoes (split)
INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven at 375°

Pizza Flats
1. Paint flat bread with olive oil.
2. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic, oregano and dried basil on bread evenly.
3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over flat bread, drop gallops of ricotta cheese on bread.
4. Layer the bread with tomatoes, Sprinkle olives and extra mozzarella over tomatoes, place on cookie sheet over parchment paper.
5. Transfer to oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes. 5. Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
